Sunspots giving away your age? Here’s what you need to know about laser treatments

Want to prevent future sunspots? It’s easier than you may think

With sun exposure being the main contributor, there’s actually one very simple thing you can do in order to prevent future sunspots from occurring, and that’s to protect yourself from the sun. This means you should avoid the sun when it’s at its strongest (between 10 am and 3 pm), always, always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen of 30 SPF or higher, and finally, wear protective clothing such as a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and a long sleeve shirt while in the sun.  

Keep in mind, the last thing you want is to have laser treatments completely remove the sunspots, only to have those spots come right back as a result of not protecting those areas against the sun.
