This depends on your unique insurance plan and coverage. Generally, most insurance plans cover health-related skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, allergies, dermatitis, hives, and warts.
Additionally, most insurance plans cover annual skin cancer screenings and evaluations. Skin cancer screenings are crucial for early detection and effective treatment. We urge you to make a skin cancer screening appointment if you’ve not had one in the last year.
It’s important to note that health insurance generally does not cover cosmetic treatments, unless they are medically necessary.
